To reflect the new brand positions for Soho and Carnaby Street, and to transform the digital presence of both destinations, Pollitt & Partners worked with digital development partner Anything to create a mobile first, video rich, AI enabled website.

The bold ambition

This is Soho! The new site had to be an encapsulation of the new brand, but also utilise cutting edge technology and build to maximise engagement, perform quickly with video content and relevant search and itinerary functions, and crucially, be simple to update on a regular basis.

 

The big ideas

Our design solution was translating the energy and vibrancy of the new brands into a digital presence in a powerful and straightforward CMS the client could access and update.

Working with our digital partners Anything, the high-performing, mobile-first solution uses the headless CMS Storyblok, enabling flexibility, scalability, and intuitive content management. Using a powerful but accessible modular design system and CMS build, the site can house a wealth of different content types.

A separate SEO strategy also enables a strong Google ranking, while an AI enabled search functionality means vast quantities of content are sifted at break neck speed.

The result is a site that achieves brand and strategic goals, while using the latest development and build technology.

A mobile-first, video-led design built for fast loading and a captivating user experience, was designed and built alongside our new new visual identity for Soho and Carnaby Street.

A digital sandbox

Big, bold typography, video rich pages, icon suites, and CMS friendly card system were used to create a seamless and consistent experience.

We art directed a series of photoshoots to capture the authentic vibe of Soho across day and night. Focussing on people, hidden gems and glimpsed vignettes delivers on the brand promise of ‘Lose yourself in Soho’.
