The OWO, Raffles’ first UK Hotel and Residences launches September 2023

From James Bond to Winston Churchill, The Old War Office which launches as The OWO on Friday 29th September, has a long and storied history.

Originally completed in 1906, this historic landmark in London’s Whitehall has ties to the world of espionage and secret operations. Notable leaders like Kitchener once walked the corridors, and author Ian Fleming found inspiration to write the James Bond novels here.

The OWO has now been reimagined as a world-leading and city-defining hotel and residences

Pollitt & Partners created a brand idea of “Home To Legends” which first was unveiled on the 4m hoardings we designed, which encircled the exterior during initial restoration and renovation.

Our further work with The OWO has included bringing the brand to life for the residents, with materials welcoming them to this new development they will call home.
