Aclarion

Empathetic, human and deeply insightful, this campaign for Aclarion’s NOCISCAN technology speaks to those living with chronic lower back pain. It captures the emotional and physical toll of endless searching and offers something profoundly simple yet powerful: clarity.

The challenge

Chronic lower back pain is rarely just physical – it’s a cycle of trial, error and mental exhaustion. From yoga classes and ergonomic chairs to late-night searches and makeshift fixes, people exhaust every avenue in pursuit of relief. We needed to create a campaign that acknowledged this lived reality, while introducing NOCISCAN as a breakthrough: a non-invasive scan that identifies the true source of pain.

The big idea

Through strategy, research and real stories, we uncovered a shared truth: people with chronic back pain often feel unheard, unseen and stuck in a loop of self-diagnosis and ineffective solutions. This became our foundation – visualising the exhausting cycle people endure, trying anything for relief.

We told these stories through four individuals, each speaking candidly about their experiences. The use of talking heads grounded the campaign in authenticity and relatability.

Between uncertainty and understanding emerged the central idea: one scan can change everything. NOCISCAN reframes the journey. It shifts the narrative from guessing to knowing, offering a sense of hope rooted in real insight.

“Working with Aclarion and their incredible mission was a real privilege – to create a campaign that was empathetic, empowering and that solves real human problems.”

We collaborated with photographer Tian Khee Siong to create a suite of stills that extended the campaign’s human tone. Alongside this, we partnered with videographer Mikey Trotter, who shot and edited the hero film, bringing a natural, documentary-style approach.
