Sex education in the UK is failing young people. The curriculum may have finally been updated for the first time in 20 years, but Split Banana believe this doesn’t go far enough. Split Banana was created to deliver inclusive and relevant relationship and sex education programmes in schools.
Through our workshops with Split Banana, we discovered one of their key points of difference – a focus on individuality. Combined with their use of art to encourage reflection, communication and self-expression, we found the inspiration we needed to begin creating their brand.
Together we defined their core proposition: Split Banana are Reshaping Sex-Ed. From here we created a flexible brand identity, and a tone of voice that could be informative, understanding and playful, allowing them to successfully connect with their difference audiences.
