PROJECT

You. Me. Carnaby.

With an iconic cultural legacy that ranges from swinging 60s London and 1970s punk attitude, to contemporary global fashion and food, we worked with Shaftesbury Capital to refresh the marketing position for Carnaby Street.

We partnered on

  • Print
  • Digital assets
  • Copywriting
  • Hoarding
  • Campaign creation

The ambition

For half a century the Carnaby Street district has been at the forefront of London’s music and fashion scene and today continues to be a cultural focal point of London’s West End.

Our brief was to create a flexible positioning that could incorporate the eclectic mix of flagship and boutique shopping, one-off concepts, pop-ups, world-class dining and nightlife in the area.

The ideas

‘You. Me. Carnaby.’ works as an ‘open invitation’ to meet, explore, socialise and visit this unique destination. This flexible framework also allows us to use words interchangeably, showcasing the many experiences on Carnaby Street, positioning the destination as a place to meet, spend time, shop, drink and eat.

Typography is clean and crisp, while punctuation marks in the font form the basis of wayfinding.
